Vaporesso Armour G & Armour GS Review 2025

VAPORESSO introduces two new devices: the ARMOUR G and ARMOUR GS. These hybrid AIO (All-In-One) systems or pod mods, like they have been named, showcase VAPORESSO’s innovation. Known for their popular COREX-powered pod lines and successful LUXE series, the company expands their pod mod market with these new releases.
While both ARMOUR G and ARMOUR GS are almost identical, the GS version is slightly larger and heavier, powered by a single replaceable 18650 battery. On the other hand, the ARMOUR G boasts a built-in 3000 mAh internal battery. Both devices come with 5 mL pods compatible with GTX coils, but their pods and coils differ – details to follow.
Adjustable from 5 to 80 watts with additional VAPORESSO mod features, the ARMOUR G and ARMOUR GS cater more to intermediate vapers than beginners. These devices support both a tight Mouth-To-Lung (MTL) vape and a fully open Direct-Lung (DL) vape, making them flexible for various vaping styles.
Let’s examine if the ARMOUR G and ARMOUR GS uphold VAPORESSO’s reputation for excellent pod mods.
Vaporesso Armour G & Armour GS
Today, we are going to talk about two amazing new vape kits from VAPORESSO: the Armour G and Armour GS. These two kits are the latest additions to the Armour family and are packed with cool features.
The Armour G is a sleek pod system kit that runs on a powerful built-in 3000mAh battery, which gives you plenty of power for your vape sessions. It supports up to 80W of power output and uses COREX tech for consistent and rich flavor. The device also has a 0.96″ TFT screen with dynamic themes and animations. It is 30% smaller than other pod mods with similar capacity, making it super portable and easy to carry around. The Armour G uses 5ml pods that are compatible with GTX coils and have a top-fill port and adjustable airflow.
On the other hand, the Armour GS is a bit bigger and heavier but comes with a replaceable single 18650 battery. Just like the Armour G, it can support up to 80W of power output and provides great flavor. It also features a 0.96″ TFT screen and small LED accents on the sides for added style. The Armour GS uses the same 5ml pods as the Armour G, with top-fill ports and adjustable airflow.
Both devices are user-friendly and provide a customizable vape experience. The Armour G comes in seven different colors, while the Armour GS has six awesome color combinations.

Vape Design
The ARMOUR G and GS are stylish AIO kits designed for both Mouth-To-Lung (MTL) and Direct-Lung (DL) vaping. The GS is a bit taller (126 mm) because it uses an 18650 battery, while the G is 113 mm with a built-in battery. Both kits have a classy look with soft leather panels and sturdy rubber bottoms. They feature vibrant orange fire buttons on top of large color screens along with small LED accents on the sides.
One minor drawback is that the LEDs only turn on or off without additional functions. Under the screen, there are up and down buttons and a convenient lock slider. The GS has a hinged battery door that works smoothly.
The ARMOUR kits offer various color options, with the GS having a full leather wrap and the G featuring two leather panels separated by a metal bar. They come in several colors, including a unique red option for the G and vibrant pink and blue for both.
Using Guide
The ARMOUR series is always packed with advanced features and the ARMOUR G and GS are no different.
You can adjust the wattage between 5 and 80 watts using the up and down buttons. There is also a lock slider to keep the device safe in your pocket. The fire button is used to turn the device on/off with five clicks and access the main menu with three clicks.
In the main menu, you can pick between Eco (normal) or Pulse (hard) mode, lock the wattage, change themes, and access settings. Settings include turning Smart mode on/off, resetting the puff counter, adjusting screen brightness, and controlling LEDs and animations.
Smart mode is great because it auto-sets the wattage when you attach a pod, preventing accidental coil burns. The ARMOUR G and GS come with two different pods for MTL and DL vaping, and both are compatible with each device.
Filling the pods is easy with a top-fill system and magnetic connection. The pods are slightly tinted but still visible. The plug-n-play coils make replacing them simple and tool-free.
Overall, the ARMOUR G and GS are user-friendly and packed with features.
Performance

The VAPORESSO ARMOUR G and GS use GTX coils. The ARMOUR G comes with a 0.4-ohm coil (26-32 watts) and a 0.6-ohm coil (20-26 watts). I found the 0.6-ohm coil too powerful for MTL vaping with high-nicotine juices and too weak for a good DL vape with low-nicotine juices. I wish they included the 0.8-ohm coil, which is perfect for MTL vaping at 12-16 watts with its 5 mL capacity and 3000mAh battery. Also, I liked using the 0.4-ohm coil for restricted DL vaping at 32 watts, which delivered good flavor.
The ARMOUR GS comes with a DL pod and includes a 0.15-ohm coil (60-75 watts) and a 0.2-ohm coil (45-60 watts). Both coils provide great DL vaping and flavor. I preferred the 0.2-ohm coil at 60 watts and the 0.15-ohm coil for even better flavor at 70 watts.
Overall, both devices perform great and you can use them any way you want by purchasing other coil options. However, the ARMOUR G and GS really shine with the 0.8-ohm MTL coil.
About Battery Life
Both devices have a USB-C port on the front with a charge rate of 2A. The ARMOUR G has an internal battery listed at 3000 mAh. During testing, I found the charge rate to be around 1.87A and the usable capacity at about 2450 mAh. It took around 90 minutes to charge the device, which matched my expectations.
Last Words
Overall, both the ARMOUR G and GS are great kits from VAPORESSO. They let you switch easily between low-wattage MTL and high-wattage DL vaping. The ARMOUR G is especially good for MTL vaping with its small size, big 3000mAh battery, and 5ml pod capacity, making it perfect for all-day use with the 0.8-ohm coil. There are not many MTL pods with such large batteries and capacity. It is like a larger version of the ECO NANO with a bigger battery. Both kits work well for anything you want.
