Although the G3 Pro is very impressive, it is not perfect. The large screen and dynamic interface might be great but they also bring some challenges. I have a few thoughts on where it could be better.

Say hello to the new UWELL Caliburn G3 Pro Pod System. It comes in six awesome colors and is built to impress. The G3 Pro is super fancy with a strong design and a cool user interface.
For the first time, you will find a full screen that makes it fun to use. Plus, it is great for powerful vaping when you pair it with a 0.4ohm Pod Cartridge.

Vape Design
The UWELL Caliburn G3 Pro is the nicest pod system I have ever had! It feels so fancy that I almost feel bad putting it in my pocket without a cover. Everything about it feels elegant and smooth. The finish is strong, and the panels look amazing.
The G3 Pro not only looks great but also feels solid due to its weight (92 grams), thanks to the sturdy zinc alloy frame. The big, colorful screen on one side of the device makes it stand out. It is like having a modern smartphone.
However, the screen layout feels a bit crowded and busy. The unnecessary robot animation takes up too much space. The puff counter only shows three digits for 2 seconds, and the battery level has bars instead of a percentage.
Despite these small issues, the display does not affect how well it works. It is just that some tweaks on the screen could have made it better.
Using Guide
The Caliburn G3 Pro is not too hard to use, even though it is not a simple pod system. Just remember these steps and you will be fine:
- Click the button 5 times to turn the vape device on or off.
- Click 3 times to adjust the wattage (it goes in a loop).
- Wait for 3 sec. or inhale to lock in your setting.
- Click twice to switch between inhale- and button mode or just inhale mode.
To fill the pod, unplug the rubber tab on the side and move it aside. Wait five minutes if it is a new pod so the cotton soaks up the eLiquid. Then, pop the pod back in and the wattage adjusts itself:
- 0.9-ohm pod – 5 to 15 watts
- 0.4-ohm pod – 5 to 35 watts
The Pro remembers your settings so you can switch pods without adjusting anything. Adjust the airflow with the switch on the side. For the 0.9-ohm pod, flip it around to get a tighter or looser draw.

Performance
Caliburn series is known for its great performance and the G3 Pro is no different. It comes with two Pro-FOCS pods: 0.9-ohm and 0.4-ohm.
0.9-ohm Pod
These pods are amazing and give perfect flavors at 14-15 watts with MTL e-liquids. After using 20 mL of e-liquid, there is no drop in performance.
0.4-ohm Pod
This new pod is for RDL vaping up to 35 watts, holding 3 mL of e-liquid. The clear plastic makes it easy to see the e-liquid level. The flavor is fantastic even after 24 mL of e-liquid and the wicking works great with 70VG e-liquid.
Functionality
The device remembers your settings but there is a small problem. When you remove a pod and change the wattage, the device keeps the new setting for the 0.4-ohm pod but goes back to the old setting for the 0.9-ohm pod when reinserted. This can be confusing but it always remembers your settings when you remove and refill a pod. The issue happens only when adjusting wattage without a pod installed.
About Battery Life
The UWELL Caliburn G3 Pro has a 1000 mAh battery, which is less than the G3 Lite’s 1200 mAh, but it is still one of the biggest in the Caliburn family. Even though it weighs more than the G3 Lite, it could use a bit more power. It lasts about 4.5-5 mL per charge, which may not be enough for a full day.
Charging is done with a USB-C port on the side and the logo flashes while charging, stopping when it is done. It charges very fast, taking only 36 to 39 minutes to go from empty to full. This is a pleasant surprise for a pod system, making it convenient to use.
Last Words
The Caliburn G3 Pro is fantastic and lives up to its family’s name. It is well-built, and the big display is amazing. UWELL did a great job here. While it is a bit heavy and does not have a stealth mode, it is the nicest pod I have ever owned.
The performance is great, as expected from the G3 series. It suits both MTL and RDL vapers. The 0.9-ohm pods are reliable for MTL, and the new 0.4-ohm pods are an unexpected treat for RDL vapers.
My main issue with the G3 Pro is the screen layout, which could be better. It’s chaotic and misses some important info. This might not bother most people but it is worth mentioning.
Even so, I am a big fan of this device. With so many similar pod systems out there, the G3 Pro is special and worth getting excited about.
