VooPoo ARGUS P2
VooPoo has launched a new device in the ARGUS family called the ARGUS P2 Pod System Kit. It has a rechargeable battery with a capacity of 1100mAh. The ARGUS P2 looks stylish and futuristic, just like its older version, the ARGUS P1. This device can deliver up to 30 watts of power and has two modes: POWER mode for precise power control and SHIFT mode for three levels of power adjustment.
The ARGUS P2 features a 0.54-inch OLED screen that shows vaping data and has five RGB lights for customization. It uses a 2ml pod with built-in 0.4ohm and 0.7ohm coils. The pod has a visible design and a comfortable mouthpiece and it connects magnetically and is hidden.
The iCOSM CODE feature offers a variety of vaping experiences, from MTL (mouth-to-lung) to DTL (direct-to-lung). The ARGUS P2 can last for three days on a full charge and has multiple safety features. VooPoo ARGUS P2 comes in eight different colors.

VooPoo ARGUS P2 Design
The ARGUS P2 looks a lot like the original P1. It is a small, square pod system that fits easily in your jeans’ key pocket or can be worn around your neck with the included lanyard.
There are some small design changes and new features. The color panel is still over the battery, and there is a clear part to see the chip which looks great. They moved the lanyard loop to the body, making it better, and added a single button.
The screen is black-and-white and shows important info like battery level, power/mode, coil resistance, and puff count. Below the screen are five LEDs with 3 modes and an air slider for adjustable airflow.
It comes in seven colors, with some having a color fade design. The main ARGUS logo is metal and comes in different amazing colors. I got the pearl white one and which looks very cool. The logo looks iridescent in the right light but silver without it. I have not had any color-chipping issues. Overall, it is simple yet techy with the clear casing and LEDs.
Using Guide
The ARGUS P2 is an advanced pod that is easy to use. It is mainly for low to high-wattage MTL vaping but you can also use the 0.4-ohm pod for restricted DL vaping at low watts.
The button is not a fire button so there is no risk of accidental firing when it is in your pocket. It is an inhale-to-fire system. Hold the button to change the LED mode (3 modes: rainbow cycling lights, white lights, and off). Press the button once to turn on the screen and five times to enter the menu.
The menu has 3 options: clear puffs, switch mode, and turn off. There are two modes: Power mode (set your wattage with protection) and Shift mode (three power settings: Eco, Normal, Sport). Switch power output with three button clicks. Shift mode cycles through settings with each press and Power mode lets you adjust the wattage.
The new pods are labeled as top-fill but they are actually side-fill with a rubber plug on the side. You can refill while the pod is in the device. The pod is magnetic and easy to pop in and out. It is visible (about 90%) but tinted, which I do not like. I prefer clear pods. When low, it is time to refill.
Overall, I am happy with the VooPoo ARGUS P2’s simplicity and usage.
Performance Details
The VOOPOO ARGUS P2 comes with two new pods that are supposed to be really good at not leaking and lasting long. They have a 2 mL capacity but you can also get a 3 mL version if you want more juice. These pods work with older coils used in other devices like the P1 and ARGUS pod.
I did not have any leaking problems with the P2. You can adjust the airflow to get different types of vape, from restricted to a tighter mouth-to-lung vape. I like it in the middle setting. For direct lung vaping, I did not get a good experience under 30 watts but that is just my preference. I found both pods worked best at up to 20 watts in normal or eco mode.
Both pods performed similarly, with the 0.4-ohm pod giving a bit more in the high teens compared to the 0.7-ohm pod in the mid-teens. They both had great flavor, no leaks, and lasted longer than expected. I usually expect 20 mL from coils like these but I got over 40 mL from each. Overall, the new coils are excellent, and the device works great.
About Battery Life
The VOOPOO ARGUS P2 has a battery with 1100 mAh capacity and a USB-C port on the bottom for charging. It charges at 5V/2A, which is pretty good. When I see specs like this, I expect at least 880 mAh and a charge rate of 1.6A or higher because companies usually round up and the usable mAh is about 20% less than listed.
I tested it and it charged at 1.9A which is great. It takes about thirty minutes to charge which is faster than most pods that take 30-60 minutes. The usable battery size is around 930 mAh which fits my expectations. It also has passthrough vaping, which the previous model did not have. I am happy with that because all devices should have it these days. Overall, I am very happy with the charging and battery specs of the P2.
Last Words
I think the VOOPOO ARGUS P2 is a great MTL vape. It is small, has a long-lasting battery, charges quickly, gives good flavor, and the coils last a long time. You can also adjust the wattage and airflow. I can not think of anything better for a pod system. It is definitely one of the best ones out there and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a compact pod vape that works really well.
