Freemax Galex Nano Review 2025

Hello there, fellow vapers and curious minds! Today, we are diving into the world of the Freemax Galex Nano. Freemax, a brand loved by many for their amazing coils and the Fireluke series of tanks has brought us their latest creation: the Galex Nano.

Imagine holding a small, square-shaped gadget that is perfect for mouth-to-lung (MTL) vaping. That is the Galex Nano for you! It is not one of those super complicated devices with tons of settings but it does have a few cool features. It has an internal battery of 800 mAh, which means it can last quite a while. Plus, it comes with pods that can hold up to 2 mL of e-liquid and use the GX Platform coils.

Oh, and did I mention? The Galex Nano has a sibling called the Galex pod, which uses the same coils but has a standard stick shape.

Stay tuned as we explore more about this nifty device and see if it lives up to Freemax’s reputation.

Freemax Galex Nano Vape

FreeMax Galex Nano is an exciting vape gadget. This little device is super compact and has a battery that can go from 11W to 22W. It is made from strong Zinc-alloy and has a cool square shape with colorful lights.

One of the best parts is its small button that does a lot of things. It doesn’t make the vape fire, but it lets you check the battery, change the light color, adjust power levels, and turn the device on and off. And guess what? To start vaping, you just need to take a puff. There’s a button on the side to adjust the power level too.

The Galex Nano Pod Kit uses Galex Replacement Pods that can hold 2ml of e-liquid. These pods are refillable and work with GX Mesh coils. The kit comes with a 1.0ohm coil that’s perfect for mouth-to-lung (MTL) vaping. If you prefer restricted direct lung (RDL) vaping, there’s a 0.8ohm mesh coil included too.

The special FM SaltCoilTech 4.0 technology makes the coils last longer and gives you pure taste from your favorite e-liquids. There is also a clear window on the pod to easily see your e-juice level. And, it is safe for kids because of the top-fill port.

The FreeMax Galex Nano Pod System is a small, easy-to-use vape device with an 800mAh rechargeable battery and adjustable wattage from 11W to 22W. It has a 2mL pod capacity, uses GX Mesh coils for great flavor, and features a draw-activated firing mechanism. The device also includes RGB lighting, a Type-C charging port, and a lanyard hole for easy carrying.

Vpe Design

Galex Nano pod is a tiny, square-shaped vape that reminds me of the Mi-Pod and UWELL KOKO. It is light and easy to carry in your pocket. Recently, there have been many square pods like the VOOPOO Argus P1, which I have also tested.

The Galex Nano has a metal body with a plastic top that has holes for attaching a lanyard. There is a clear window above the chip, which I like because you can see the LEDs while vaping and you can turn them off if you want. On the side, there is a small rectangular button with a few cool functions.

This device comes in five colors. From the pictures, I think the red/gold fade looks the coolest but some people might prefer simpler colors. I got the blue one for testing, and it is a nice matte blue with a black plastic top. Overall, it is a simple yet stylish device with some neat features.

Using Guide

The Galex Nano pod system is great for beginners. It is simple to use and has a button with cool features. Here is how it works:

  • Press the button once to check the battery level.
  • Click it twice to change the LED color (solid rainbow, breathing colors, or turn off).
  • Click it three times to adjust the power level (red is low, blue is medium, and green is high).
  • Click it 5 times to turn the vape device on and off.
  • To vape, just inhale! You do not need to press any buttons.

Filling the pod is super easy. The pod is magnetic so it snaps in and out easily. You only need to take it out to change the coils. To fill, push back on the black mouthpiece to open the fill hole. There is a red rubber gasket and an air-escape hole on the other side. Pop the mouthpiece back on when you’re done, and you are ready to vape.

The pod is half-exposed and clear so you can see the e-juice level easily. If it is below half, just tilt the device to check the juice level. It is perfect for new vapers or anyone who wants a small, easy-to-use device with some extra features.

Performance

FreeMax Galex Nano Pod Kit

Freemax is famous for their awesome coils, so let’s check if these live up to the hype. There are two coil options in the GX line: a 1.0-ohm coil and a 0.8-ohm coil. The device comes with one of each.

I tested both pods with 50/50 20-24 mg nic salt juices. Both gave a solid mouth-to-lung (MTL) vape not too tight and not too loose.

First, I tried the 0.8-ohm coil. It lasted for about 30 mL, which is fantastic—usually, I expect 15-20 mL from a device like this. The flavor was great too!

Then, I tested the 1.0-ohm coil and got around 26 mL. The coil life was really good, but the flavor was a bit less than the 0.8-ohm coil. I liked the 0.8-ohm coil more but both are excellent. You can try both and see which one you like best since one of each is included. I suggest using them on medium or high power.

Overall, the performance of both coils was excellent.

About Battery Life

Let’s talk about the battery life of the Galex Nano. This little device comes with an internal 800 mAh battery. You charge it using a Type-C port located at the bottom so you need to lay it down to charge.

When I tested the charging, I got a max rate of 0.78A so it is probably close to 1A charging. Most pods charge in 30 to 60 minutes and this one took about 50 minutes. You can even vape while it is charging.

For the battery size, I measured a usable 632 mAh, which is a bit below the listed 800 mAh. This is normal since most devices are rated about 20% higher than you actually get. In this case, it is 21% higher so it is pretty standard.

To check the battery level, press the function button once. The device has a 3 step LED battery meter:

  • Green Light: 70-100%
  • Blue Light: 35-70%
  • Red Light: 0-35%

I would have liked a four-step meter but overall the battery life is really good for a device like this.

Last Words

Freemax has done a great job with the Galex Nano. It is simple, looks good, is well-built, and durable. The coils are amazing, you can adjust the settings, and it has cool LED lights that you can turn off if you do not like them.

If you prefer a pen-style device, you can check out the Galex, which is almost the same and uses the same coils. Both devices are perfect if you want something small and easy to use but still perform well.
