Today, we are going to talk about the GeekVape B60, also known as the Aegis Boost 2. GeekVape has been making cool products for many years and their most famous line is the Aegis series. The Aegis Boost 2 is the latest addition to this line, and it is an all-in-one (AIO) pod vape.
Like its older version, it is made to be light but super strong. It has a built-in 2000 mAh battery and refillable pods that can hold up to 5 mL of juice. The device uses the B series of coils, which are easy to find because they are used in many GeekVape products.
The original Aegis was the first rugged mod with an IP certification, changing the way we see vape devices. The original Boost was a great and reliable AIO. So, does the Aegis Boost 2 live up to these legends? Keep reading to find out.

Vape Design
The Geekvape B60 is a small device that looks a lot like the Aegis products with its stylish leather panel and sleek frame. It is bigger than the usual pods but about the same size as a single-battery mod kit. Just like other Aegis devices, it is well-built and feels sturdy when you hold it. Also, It’s IP68 rated which means it is water and shock-resistant, making it a tough pod vape you can take anywhere.
The B60 comes in seven colors and they all look great up close. I had no issues with the color chipping on mine. The colors cover the whole device, making each one stand out nicely. I reviewed the silver one which has a two-tone design with a silver frame, gunmetal body, and gray leather backing. The bottom has a gray rubber coating that helps it grip surfaces and not tip over easily.
The device has three buttons: a fire button on the top front and two smaller buttons on the bottom front for adjusting settings. One of the coolest features is the lock bar on the side, which lets you lock the device without turning it off so you can pocket it without worrying about it firing.
The front has a bright and colorful 0.96-inch screen that shows the battery level, puff counter, and settings. Overall, the B60 is a rugged and stylish-looking pod vape that is easy to use and built to last.
Using Guide

The B60/Boost 2 is an all-in-one (AIO) device that works like a mod kit, so it is best for people who have some vaping experience. It has a lot of modes, which might be confusing for beginners. AIOs are usually meant to be simple and portable and while the B60 is great for carrying around, the extra modes make it less beginner-friendly.
The B60 has full temperature control but does not come with a rebuildable atomizer (RBA) deck so this feature is not useful. It also has a boost mode for max power but regular power mode could do the same job. The boost mode is supposed to provide high watts even when the battery is low but power mode should handle that.
There is also a smart mode that isn’t clearly explained and seems to work like the power mode. Sometimes, companies add too many features to devices like this, but simpler is usually better. The B60 does have a watt curve mode (VPC), which is useful, but power mode is really all you need.
Here is how to use the device
Five clicks turn this vape on and off. To switch modes, click the fire button three times, then use the up and down buttons to scroll, and hold the fire button to select and exit.
The pod has adjustable airflow with a slider on the back, offering a range from a loose MTL to a restricted DL vape. However, it only comes with one large drip tip. A second, smaller tip for lower-wattage coils would have been nice.
A great feature of the pod is the top-fill design, which lets you fill it without removing the pod from the device. Just unplug the fill plug on the top, fill it up, and put it back. However, the pod is darkly tinted, making it hard to check juice levels. Clear pods would be better for easy juice checking.
Replacing coils is easy: pull out the pod held by strong magnets and pull the coil out. It is a plug-and-play coil, but using the included tool makes it easier. It would have been better to change coils easily by hand without the tool.
Overall, I am happy with the device, except for the dark tint on the pod and it being a bit complex for its type.
Performance
The most important part of any pod vape is the coils. Geekvape has been doing a great job with coils lately and this uses the B series of coils, which we have seen in other devices like the Boost, Boost Plus, M100, and Z Nano tank. These coils are easy to find.
There are five coil options, ranging from 10 to 58 watts, giving you a lot of variety. The pod has top airflow to reduce leaks but it can affect performance.
The package includes two coils: B0.2 and B0.6. I started with the B0.2 coil, which is best at 50-55 watts. The flavor was okay but the top airflow might be the reason it is not super flavorful. Next, I tried the B0.6 coil, which is good for 15-25 watts. It is not great for DL vaping or MTL with high-nicotine juices. I used it for a loose MTL at around 17 watts and it worked okay. The flavor was alright, and the coil lasted for about 40 mL of juice, which is excellent for a low wattage coil.
Overall, it is a decent vape for DL vapers using the higher-wattage coil, but not ideal for lower-wattage use.
About Battery Life
The B60 has a built-in battery that is supposed to be 2000 mAh but I found it to be about 1700 mAh. The Type-C charging port is at the bottom front of the device, and I measured the charge rate at 1.87A so it is pretty fast. It fully charges in about 64 minutes and has passthrough vaping which means you can use it while it is charging.
Last Words
Geekvape did a good job with this device but there are some things to consider. It is great for someone who vapes at around 50 watts and wants a tough, portable device that can handle a beating.
However, it is not ideal for beginners since there are simpler all-in-one (AIO) devices available. It also does not offer much for MTL vaping, which is what many beginners start with. So, if you are an intermediate vaper looking for a sturdy device to take on the go, this is a great choice. But if you are a beginner there are probably better options.
