The Geekvape Sonder Q2 is compact, measuring 112mm x 23.7mm. It has a 1350mAh battery, supports a 5W-30W power output, and offers resistance options of 0.4ohm, 0.6ohm, 0.8ohm, and 1.2ohm. The e-liquid pods hold 3ml.

The GeekVape Sonder Q2 Pod Kit is an improved version of the Sonder Q, featuring a slim, tall, and stylish design with better performance. Design

The Geekvape Sonder Q2 is a basic stick-style pod system, similar to the JUUL and Caliburn. It is not too small but it fits easily in your pocket. It is simple and affordable so there are not any fancy features. There is an LED for the battery meter and adjustable airflow but no buttons or settings.

They come in ten different colors. I got the olive green one which has a nice matte finish that does not show fingerprints. The Sonder logo is big on the front and textured but doesn’t peel off. The “O” in Sonder is the LED, which lights up like a rotating rainbow when you vape. If the battery is low it turns red after the rainbow lights. Otherwise, it turns off. Overall, the design is simple but functional making it great for beginners.

Using Guide – Review

The Geekvape Sonder Q2 is a basic pod system perfect for beginners and disposable vape users. It is designed to be affordable and very simple to use. It is an inhale-to-fire system with no buttons, modes, or settings, except for airflow adjustment, which lets you switch from MTL (mouth-to-lung) to RDL (restricted direct lung) vaping.

The Q2 works with all Q pods and there are two pod styles. One is the top-fill pod with a pop-off top and a 2 mL capacity and the other is the side-fill pod with a rubber plug for refilling and a 3 mL capacity.

The device comes with a side-fill pod. Both pod types can be refilled without removing them which is convenient. The side-fill pod is a bit tinted but fully exposed, making it easy to see the juice level, though I prefer clear pods.

Overall, I am happy with the Sonder Q2 because it is just a simple fill, charge, and vape device with nothing else to worry about.

Vape Performance

Geekvape Sonder Q2

The Geekvape Sonder Q2 works with all Q pods, giving you lots of options. There are three top-fill 2 mL pods:

  • 0.6-ohm (8 to 25 watts)
  • 0.8-ohm (12 to 18 watts)
  • 1.2-ohm (8 to 12 watts)

And four side-fill 3 mL pods:

  • 0.4-ohm (25 to 30 watts)
  • 0.6-ohm (18 to 25 watts)
  • 0.8-ohm (12 to 18 watts)
  • 1.2-ohm (8 to 12 watts)

The Sonder Q2 comes with a 0.8-ohm side-fill 3 mL pod. It doesn’t include any other pods, which is common for affordable devices, but it would be better to have two pods in the box. I’ve used many Q pods before, and they’ve always been good. I haven’t tried the new side-fill style yet, but the 0.8-ohm pods are usually the best for most systems.

I liked using the 0.8-ohm pod with the airflow half to fully open, giving a loose MTL to RDL vape. The flavor was great, and the 3 mL capacity fits well with this device. The coil lasted a long time, and I could easily vape a 30 mL bottle with the coil still working well. Overall, it’s an excellent pod, and I’m very happy with its performance.

Geekvape Sonder Q2 Battery

The Geekvape Sonder Q2 has an internal battery of 1350 mAh, up from the original Sonder Q’s 1000 mAh. In my tests, the original Sonder Q actually had 1000 mAh usable, which is unusual since most devices have about 80% usable capacity. So, for the Q2, I expected around 1080 mAh and got 1120 mAh, which is a good improvement.

The Q2 has a charge rate of 1A, while the original Sonder Q had a max charge rate of 0.74A and took 85 minutes to charge. The Q2 charges at 1.02A and takes 70 minutes, which is a bit long but still reasonable for an affordable device.

Overall, I am very happy with the battery specs, charge rate and improvements in Q2.
