Geekvape Wenax Q Pro Review 2025

Are you ready to dive into the world of Geekvape’s latest offering? The Geekvape Wenax Q Pro is here and it is making waves in the vaping community.
This new device is an upgraded version of the popular Wenax Q, featuring a full-color screen, a three-button interface, a powerful 1200 mAh battery, and 30 watts of power. Plus, it charges faster than ever before! But the big question is: does it live up to the hype? Let’s find out together.
Geekvape Wenax Q Pro
Introducing the GeekVape Wenax Q Pro Pod Kit. This new addition to the Wenax family brings some cool upgrades and better performance.
It has a strong 1200mAh battery that can go up to 30W of power. The Q Pro features a 0.96-inch color screen with pretty aurora-like animations. Plus, it has shock-resistant silicone rubber at the bottom for extra durability and safety.
The Q Pro Kit works with Q pod cartridges that hold 2ml of e-liquid. These pods have built-in coils and a clear top-fill design. To get the full 30W power you will need a 0.4ohm pod cartridge.
When you put in the pod, the device’s Smart mode automatically picks the right wattage. You can also change the wattage using the touch buttons in Power mode, and Eco mode helps you get more vaping time when the battery is low.
With the Wenax Q Pro, you can switch between MTL (mouth-to-lung) and RDL (restricted direct lung) vaping styles and enjoy a personalized vaping experience.

Vape Design
The Geekvape Wenax Q Pro looks great and feels nice. It mixes old-school style with new features. It is not flashy, but I like it. The body is made of a soft, matte material without any designs. Simple looks can be classy.
The front of the device is glossy and has a color gradient, but it gets fingerprints easily. The button ring matches the device color, which I think is cool.
The Wenax Q Pro isn’t too big or heavy so it is just right. It is not waterproof but the thick rubber bottom helps protect it from drops.
The 0.96-inch color screen is a big upgrade from the old black-and-white one. It shows wattage, battery level, resistance, and puff count. The colors and animations are nice but the fonts are small and hard to see.
Using Guide
To use the Geekvape Wenax Q Pro, you need to know a few clicks:
- One click to turn on the screen
- Three clicks to change the power
- Four clicks to open the menu
- Five clicks to turn it on or off
The Q pods have a top-fill system like the XROS series. Press the mouthpiece with your thumb to open it but filling can be messy because there’s no air escape hole. Tilt the pod at a 45-degree angle to avoid spills.
Let the cotton in the pod soak for a few minutes after filling. Then, put it in the device, adjust the airflow and power, and start vaping. You can change settings by clicking four times to enter the menu:
- Mode – SMART mode limits power, POWER mode lets you choose any power.
- Lock – turn button-firing on or off.
- Eco – turns off animations and vibrations to save battery (but lights can’t be turned off).
- Puff Reset – reset the puff counter.
A cool feature is the hidden buttons under the screen, making it easy to use. It is better than just one button because it is more user-friendly.
Geekvape Wenax Q Pro Performance

The Wenax Q Pro works with Geekvape Q pods, which have been around for over a year. I was excited to try them because they have a great reputation. The kit comes with two pods: 0.6 ohm and 0.8 ohm (there is also a 1.2-ohm pod but it is not included).
0.8-ohm Q pod (MTL)
I used my usual 50/50 e-liquid and this pod was great right away. It didn’t need much time to start working well. It is not the best MTL vape I have ever tried but it is really good. The flavor started to fade after about 21 mL of e-liquid.
0.6-ohm Q pod (RDL)
I tested this pod with a higher VG (70%) e-liquid. It worked well and did not give dry hits. The flavor was impressive but it needed some time to break in. The first 25-30 puffs did not taste good but it got much better after that. It lasted about 19 to 20 mL of e-liquid.
About Battery
The Wenax Q Pro has a 1200 mAh battery which is 20% bigger than the original 1000 mAh battery. The Pro is also about 16% larger so it is a tradeoff between size and battery life. It is not too big, so I’m happy with the extra battery time. I could use 5.7 to 6.1 mL of e-liquid between charges, which is pretty good.
You charge it using a 2-amp Type-C port on the side. While charging, you can see the battery percentage on the screen, which is better than just a flashing light. Charging takes 49 to 61 minutes, which is okay but could be faster. For example, the VAPORESSO XROS 4 NANO charges in 35 to 37 minutes with a 1350 mAh battery. An hour for 1200 mAh is fine but it could be better.
Last Words
Pod vapes have gotten a lot better in recent years. Before, only a few big companies were ahead and everyone else was trying to catch up. Now, many companies, like Geekvape, have caught up. The Wenax Q Pro shows that. It might not have the best flavor or features, but it can compete with the best.
There are a few things that could be better, like the screen layout, charging speed, and filling process. The pods also wobble a bit when you put them in but it is not too bad.
Even with these issues, the Wenax Q Pro is a great pod system. It has a big battery, good performance, a cool design, haptic feedback, and an easy-to-use interface. Whether you are a pod fan or looking for your first vape, I’d recommend giving this one a try.
