Vape Design
The OXBAR ICE-NIC Control 35K looks like a regular disposable vape, but it has a cool feature that lets you adjust the nicotine level. It has a shiny plastic body with two-toned colors that do not show fingerprints much. The design is simple and has a spot for a lanyard.
On the front, there is a smart screen that shows juice, battery, ice, and nicotine levels. It might seem like a lot but it is easy to read. You can adjust the ice and nicotine with two buttons at the bottom. The top button changes the ice level and the bottom button changes the nicotine level. Each button has a small icon to show what it does.
Using Guide
Even though this new vape has some cool advanced tech inside, it is still super easy to use, just like any disposable from 2024.
At the bottom of the ICE-NIC, there is a switch that controls both airflow and on/off settings. It is clearly labeled and easy to understand. The first position turns it on and gives a tight airflow (perfect for a strict MTL). The next position is a bit looser but not too much. It might sound a bit strange, but you will see what I mean when you try it.
To adjust the ice or nicotine levels, there are two buttons on the bottom side – the top one is for ice, and the bottom one is for nicotine. Just press a button once to activate the screen, and press again to toggle between low, medium, and high settings.
By default, the nicotine level starts at its lowest setting and can be adjusted up and back down. The ice setting has four levels, including off but even when it is off you will still feel a slight cooling sensation because most disposable flavors have a bit of ice already. You can not turn off the nicotine completely, though.
About Hit
The hit from the ICE-NIC is quick, quiet, smooth, and full of flavor. As a fan of the OXBAR Magic Maze 2.0, I am happy that the ICE-NIC 35K’s flavor matches up nicely. Sometimes, I get a bit of juice in my mouth, especially if I am vaping while lying down. This happens with other disposable vapes that have similar mouthpieces, too.
Now, onto the special features. The ice adjustability is great, especially if you like less or more ice in your vape. I usually keep my ice level off but for some flavors, I enjoy a high ice level. On high, it feels really icy. Medium and low levels do not show much difference.
The nicotine adjustability is tricky to notice. I do not feel much difference between low, medium, and high settings. The throat hit stays the same and it feels like a regular 5% nicotine vape. I think the device mixes zero-nicotine juice with the main flavor but I am not certain. It would be nice to know more about how this works and what the levels really mean.
Top Flavors
The flavors of OXBAR disposables are amazing. That is thanks to both the device and Pod Juice. The strong flavors might take some getting used to but they grow on you quickly. The dessert flavors are especially enjoyable.
- Strawberry Shortcake (Capricorn II) – This flavor is addictive and delicious. It has a chewy strawberry dessert taste, though it is not exactly like strawberry shortcake. Still so good, even without extra ice.
- Jewel Cane Mint (Leo) – A fantastic mint flavor that tastes just like chewy peppermint Christmas candies. Sweet and minty, with the option to make it even colder if you want.
- Jolly Watermelon (Libra) – Sour, sweet, and bright, similar to candy but with a fuller taste. Perfect without ice or with a bit of ice.
- Rocket Pop (Scorpio) – Sweet and almost syrupy, this flavor is perfect if you love sweet tastes. It really captures the rocket pop flavor profile. Great with or without ice.
These flavors make the ICE-NIC a joy to use.
Long Lasting
Can you get 35K puffs from an OXBAR ICE-NIC? Maybe, if you take short one-second puffs. I take long draws so it might vary. What I can say for sure is about the charge cycles. I have charged my strawberry shortcake flavor 4 times, and there is still 35% liquid left (just starting the fourth charge cycle). I think I will get at least one more charge out of it. Five charges is a good value.
The charging time is about 65 minutes, which is pretty standard. As it charges, the battery indicator shows different colors (red for low, green for full). Once the battery is fully charged, the indicator turns off, and remember that ICE-NIC does not support pass-thru charging.
Last Words
The OXBAR ICE-NIC Control 35K is a great disposable vape. The flavors are really well-made and the device helps them taste amazing. OXBAR has done a fantastic job.
The best part about these OXBAR disposables is the ice and nicotine adjustability. But, the nicotine adjustability is not as good as I hoped. The ice adjustability works well, especially on high. But, I can not really tell the difference with the nicotine levels. I wish I knew more about how it works and what the levels mean.
Even though the nicotine adjustability is not perfect, I still love using the OXBAR ICE-NIC 35K. I highly recommend it for its great flavor, ice adjustability, and long-lasting use. Give it a try—you might find the nicotine adjustment useful, even if I did not.
