OXBAR Oxpod Elite Review 2025

Hey everyone! Today, we are checking out the OXBAR Oxpod Elite, a cool new pod vape from OXBAR. They started in 2021 and quickly became a big name in the disposable vape market with hits like the G8000 and Magic Maze series.
In late 2022, they tried out refillable vapes with the RRD, a refillable disposable with a non-removable tank. Now, they are stepping up their game with the Oxpod Elite, an open pod system.
The Oxpod Elite fits into a trend of “disposalikes” — starter kits that look and feel like disposables but can be reused. I think this is a great idea and hope to see more of it.
OXBAR is really raising the bar with this release. The specs are amazing for a pod vape its size, with 8 mL pods, a 1300 mAh battery, adjustable airflow, and adjustable wattage—all for about the price of a disposable. The Oxpod Elite has a lot of potential but it is not perfect. Keep reading to find out if this budget-friendly vape is worth getting.
OXBAR Oxpod Elite
The OXPOD Elite Kit is a cool pod system made by OXBAR and Pod Juice. It has a leather cover that feels nice in your hand. It is powered by a rechargeable 1300mAh battery and gives you 30W of power and up to 25K puffs on a full charge.
The kit includes the OXPOD Elite device and an 8ml pod that you can see through. The pod has a bottom fill port and a comfy mouthpiece. It also has a smart display that shows battery life, wattage, and a light for each draw. Plus, you can choose from ten different colors for the pod.

- Big 1300 mAh battery
- Fully adjustable airflow and power
- No dry hits, leaks, or condensation
- Easy to see the e-liquid level
- Comfortable mouthpiece (good for MTL)
- Very affordable

Vape Design
The Oxpod Elite is made of plastic but it feels like it could be metal. It looks and feels amazing with leather panels, a button, and an airflow switch that works really well. The screen is simple but bright, showing wattage, battery life, and a breathing light. The build quality and design are top-notch. Great job, OXBAR!
It is lightweight (59 grams) and not the lightest pod out there, but it has a big battery (1300 mAh). It fits easily in your pocket and feels great in your hand. With its large e-liquid and battery capacity, it is perfect for all-day use.
One downside is that it only comes with one pod. Even though it’s affordable, having a backup pod would be nice since defective pods can happen.
Using Guide
Using the OXBAR Oxpod Elite is super easy because it does not have any complicated features. Here are the click counts to remember:
- 1 click to wake up the screen
- 3 clicks to change the wattage
- 5 clicks to turn it on or off
- Long press to lock or unlock it
To fill the pod, take it off the device and unplug the rubber tab at the bottom. Like the ECO NANO PRO, it has a rubber grommet inside the fill port to prevent leaks. If it is a new pod, let the cotton soak in the e-liquid for a few minutes before vaping. (Note – This vape device is draw-activated only.)
You can adjust the airflow with the slider switch on the side. It has good tension so it won’t move out of place when you put it in your pocket or purse. The pod does wobble a bit but it is a tiny annoyance.
Performance Details
The Oxpod Elite comes with one 0.8-ohm pod with a mesh coil best used between 18 to 22 watts. I filled it with fruity menthol e-liquid (50/50) and it worked well at first. But after about 11 to 12 mL, the flavor got worse and it was not fun to vape anymore.
I tried again with a new kit and my favorite tobacco e-liquid. This pod has gone through about 16 mL and still works great so I think the first pod was a bit faulty.
The flavor is good but not as good as other pods I have tried this year. Some of the tastes I am used to from this e-liquid were missing. I think these pods might work better with sweeter, stronger flavors, which makes sense since they’re aimed at disposable users.
About Battery Life
You can charge the Oxpod Elite using the USB-C port on the bottom. I was surprised that it only takes about 60 minutes to fully charge from zero to 100%. Even though some devices charge faster, an hour is okay for the price and the big 1300 mAh battery. The button gets warm while charging, but the rest of the device stays cool.
Since the pods hold 8 mL of e-liquid, you will need to charge more often than fill them. I noticed that the pod is usually around 35% full when it’s time to plug in so you will probably use up 5 to 5.5 mL per charge.
Last Words
The Oxpod Elite is a simple pod vape but I had mixed feelings about it. OXBAR did a lot right with this kit but the overall experience was not perfect. The airflow is smooth when it is loose but gets whistly and unpleasant when restricted. The flavor is good but not the best compared to other pods.
On the bright side, the battery life and e-liquid capacity are amazing for its size and weight. The design is clean and classy and the build quality is excellent.
There is a lot of potential here. With a little improvement, the Oxpod Elite would be my top pick for beginners. If OXBAR makes a V2, I will be first in line to buy it.
I recommend the OXBAR Oxpod Elite vape for beginners, disposable users, and budget vapers.
