There are no buttons on the Cravat, making it very simple to use; you just inhale to activate it. On the front, there are three small LED lights that show the battery charge level. These lights stay on for a second or two after you take a puff so you can quickly check how much battery is left.

Using Guide
The Cravat is a great choice for beginners. There are no buttons, screens, or settings—just inhale to vape and put it in your pocket when you’re done.
Filling the pod is easy too. It is magnetic so it snaps in and out without any hassle. The magnets keep it in place firmly so it does not wiggle around. To remove the pod, just pull it out; to put it back in, pop it back and let the magnets do their job. There is a black rubber plug on the side to expose the fill hole for adding your juice.
However, the pod is only partly exposed so you have to tilt it to see the juice level and it can be hard to see because the pod is darkly tinted. I wish they made clear pods for better visibility.
Overall, it is perfect for first-time vapers wanting to quit smoking.
Performance
The coils in the Cravat pod device are super important. UWELL is famous for their great coils and this one is no different.
There is only one choice here—a pod with a 1.2-ohm built-in coil, which keeps things simple. But, there is only one pod included so having a spare would be nice.
I tried 50/50 20-24mg nic salt juices and the flavor was excellent for a beginner pod. The draw is very tight, like a real cigarette.
The pod lasted for about 30 mL of juice, which is amazing since I usually expect around 10 mL from coils like these. With UWELL’s good history, these coils should be a safe bet.
About Battery Life
The battery life for this device is good. It has a 300 mAh internal battery and a Type-C charging port at the bottom so it has to lie down to charge. I actually prefer vaping devices that can stand up while charging.
When I tested it, the charge rate was 0.63 amps. I did give it a 0.5-amp rating, though most companies might say it is 1A. It takes 39 minutes to charge, which is pretty fast. I got 290 mAh usable battery, which is great. Most companies would list it as 350 mAh, but UWELL was honest about the battery size. It also allows passthrough vaping.
The LED lights show the battery level:
- Green Light – 60 to 100%
- Blue Light – 30 to 60%
- Red Light – 0 to 30%
I wish there were four steps instead of three for the battery indication but most companies use three steps.
