VAPORESSO LUXE QS Review 2025

Meet the VAPORESSO LUXE QS, the follow-up to the popular LUXE Q. This pod vape, known for its simplicity and impressive performance, now sports some minor design tweaks and new pods that are still compatible with the original.
VAPORESSO claims that the LUXE QS can handle Restricted Direct Lung (RDL) vaping, making it more versatile. The battery remains a solid 1000 mAh and the pods offer two airflow options depending on how you insert them.
VAPORESSO boasts that the LUXE QS is the most compact RDTL pod on the market but we will see if that claim holds up as we dive deeper into this review. Keep reading to find out why this sequel may not live up to its predecessor in some aspects but still stands as a noteworthy addition to the vaping world.
VAPORESSO LUXE QS
The Vaporesso LUXE QS Pod Kit is like your trusty buddy for vaping. It’s small, pretty, and easy to carry around. It has a battery that you can recharge and lasts a long time.
This kit is made from strong zinc-alloy and has shiny patterns on it. It has special technology to stop leaks and make sure the vape works well. The COREX Heating technology inside helps you enjoy your vape juice for longer.
The Vaporesso LUXE QS Pod Kit makes great clouds and keeps the flavor tasty. The pods can hold 2ml of vape juice and come in two types: 0.6ohm and 1.0ohm. They have a clear part so you can see how much juice is left, and you can fill them up from the top without making a mess. You can also change the airflow to make it just right for you.

VAPORESSO LUXE QS Best Values
Vape Design
The Vaporesso LUXE QS feels really nice to hold because of its ridged design and perfect weight. It is made of metal with a hard plastic panel and has a cool holographic pattern that looks great in lime green and sunset violet colors.
The new logo on the back is pretty awesome too—it has a superhero feel to it! The pods are easy to remove and are transparent but you might need to take them out to check the juice levels.
Using Guide
Using the LUXE QS is super easy, just like the first one. To fill the pod, push the mouthpiece on its flat side to take it off then press your bottle tip on the red-marked hole. Put the mouthpiece back on and wait for five minutes so the wicks can soak up the juice. Pop the pod into the battery and you are ready to vape.
You can change the airflow by turning the pod around. This makes a big difference, unlike the original, and lets you do RDL vaping with the low-resistance pod and the looser airflow setting. I will talk more about how well it does RDL vaping in the next section.
Performance

The Vaporesso LUXE QS comes with two pods in the box: one 0.6-ohm mesh pod for both MTL and RDL vaping, and one 1.0-ohm mesh pod specifically for MTL. Both pods use Vaporesso’s COREX technology, which claims to offer a 50% increase in lifespan, flavor, and vapor production. The flavor from these pods is truly impressive; they provide a rich and “juicy” taste that stands out compared to other top pods on the market. When I tested the LUXE QS against other popular devices like the Caliburn A2 and the Wenax H1, the QS delivered superior flavor.
However, despite Vaporesso’s marketing claims, the LUXE QS is not the best for RDL vaping. While the 0.6-ohm pod can handle some RDL vaping with the looser airflow orientation, it still requires some slipstreaming and the mouthpiece can get hot quickly. It is not ideal for continuous RDL vaping. I found that the 0.6-ohm pod performs better with tighter airflow settings.
The 1.0-ohm coil offers a tighter MTL experience, similar to the Caliburn A2 but a bit looser. Using the 1.0-ohm pod at the looser airflow setting was less satisfying and the sensor seemed less responsive. At the tighter setting, the sensor works well. The 0.6-ohm coil is slightly looser in MTL mode but I enjoyed it because of its impressive flavor.
The LUXE QS is a fantastic device overall but its marketing as the most compact RDTL pod might be a bit misleading. It is excellent for MTL vaping and offers outstanding flavor and build quality but is not quite as versatile for RDL vaping as suggested.
About Battery Life
Just like the LUXE Q, the QS has a great battery that lasts a long time! The battery is 1000 mAh so you can use two full pods (4 mL) on one charge. Charging it takes only 50 minutes, which is faster than most other devices.
The VAPORESSO logo light blinks red when charging and turns green when done. It also changes color when you vape:
- Green Light – 70 to 100%
- Blue Light – 30 to 70%
- Red Light – 0 to 30%
Last Words
The LUXE QS is a really cool little vape. It is a bit sad that VAPORESSO says it’s the best RDL vape because that is not quite true. It is actually one of the best MTL pods out there, thanks to its awesome flavor. The battery lasts long, it charges quickly, and it is well-made.
The only downside is its performance in RDL vaping. It is not bad but not the best if that is what you want. But if you like a slightly loose, warm, and tasty MTL vape, the LUXE QS is fantastic. Big thumbs up to VAPORESSO for making a great vape even better.
