VAPORESSO XROS 3 NANO Review 2025

Introducing the VAPORESSO XROS 3 NANO, the latest addition to the VAPORESSO pod vape family. Building on the XROS NANO, which was a square version of the XROS 2, this new NANO promises to be an exciting update. You might wonder why it was not named the NANO 2—well, let’s just say naming things can be tricky.

What is new in this version? For starters, the XROS 3 NANO comes with a fresh design and a shiny metallic lanyard. Although I have not tried the original NANO, everything else seems pretty similar on paper.

It has the same 1000 mAh battery capacity, uses the same pods (now with a new 0.8-ohm pod and the same 0.6-ohm pod), and features an airflow slider. The main difference is a slightly looser airflow on the 3 NANO to allow for RDL (Restricted Direct Lung) vaping.

Read on to find out if the XROS 3 NANO goes beyond its spec sheet and delivers an even better vaping experience.

VAPORESSO XROS 3 NANO

VAPORESSO XROS 3 NANO is the latest coolest gadget for your vaping adventure. It is shaped like a little square with a big logo on one side, making it look super stylish. Plus, it is really light so you can easily carry it around.

The XROS 3 NANO has a strong 1000mAh battery inside. This means you can vape for up to 48 hours on just one charge—pretty awesome, right?

This kit comes with two types of pods: a 0.6ohm pod and a 0.8ohm pod. Each pod can hold 2ml of eLiquid. By the way, the coils are built right into the pods, and they are super easy to refill from the top. You can use both nicotine salt and regular eLiquids with this kit.

The 0.6ohm mesh pod has something called Corex technology, which makes sure the heating is fast and even. The special Morph-Mesh design helps to make the vaporization process 50% more efficient and also makes the pods last 50% longer.

Lastly, the AXON chip inside the XROS 3 NANO gives the device a power boost and keeps it running smoothly, even when the battery is low.

The XROS 3 NANO Pod Kit is small and light, weighing only 52.6g and measuring 69.9mm x 51.2mm x 14mm. It has a 1000mAh rechargeable battery, a neon indicator, and a flat mouthpiece. The kit includes SSS leak-resistant technology, Corex heating technology, aluminum alloy construction, and an AXON chip.

Vape Design

The XROS 3 NANO, just like all the new VAPORESSO products, is built really well. The sides are made of strong plastic and the front and back are covered with shiny metal panels. There is a big logo on one side, and VAPORESSO is written all over the other side. The writing is kind of see-through and only shows up at certain angles.

Some colors are all the same, while others have different colors for the sides and the metal panels. I think they all look cool, especially the Bondi Blue and Lemon Yellow ones but I did not get those colors to try out.

The pod stays in place perfectly with strong magnets, and the airflow slider works smoothly. Even the spot where you attach the lanyard looks good. They even give you a metal lanyard in the box! I am not a big fan of lanyards, but I did use it when I took my dog for a walk.

Overall, the build quality and design are really good. I have no complaints.

Using Guide

This part is super easy! Just push the flat side of the mouthpiece to take it off. Then, remove the sticker from the bottom of the pod. After that, fill the pod with your e-juice. Now, wait for five minutes so the wick can soak up the juice. When that’s done, just inhale from the mouthpiece to start vaping. You can also adjust the airflow using the slider.

That’s it—the XROS 3 NANO is really simple to use.

Performance

When I checked out the XROS 3, I was really impressed with how well its coils worked. Now, the NANO is basically the same thing but with a different shape, so there are only a couple of new things to talk about here.

First, let’s see how it handles RDL (Restricted Direct Lung) with the 0.6-ohm pod. It felt a lot like the XROS 3 to me. The airflow is pretty tight for RDL so I found it worked better for MTL (Mouth To Lung) when the airflow was closed. It’s a bit loose for MTL but the flavor was really good. If you like a really restricted DL (Direct Lung) vape, it might work for you with the airflow all the way open but I think they should have adjusted the airflow a bit more.

The 0.8-ohm pod is great for MTL. It is tighter, the flavor is amazing, and it is probably the best choice for freebase juice or low-strength nicotine salts. I tried it with 20 mg hybrid salt/freebase juice, and it felt a bit too strong. It worked great with my 7 mg freebase juice, and I believe it would do well with 20 mg salts too.

It is like the pod was made for the EU rules, so if you’re in the EU, definitely give it a try. As for coil life, I finished my 10 mL bottle and it still worked well. That juice is tough on coils so the coil life seems to be really good.

About Battery Life

The battery life of the XROS 3 NANO is really good! It has a 1000 mAh battery. I managed to vape about 4 mL of e-juice on one charge. However, it did feel a bit weak for the last mL. So, it is best to charge it after vaping 3-3.5 mL.

There is a cool LED light that changes colors while you vape and shows the battery level when you stop. Here is how the colors work:

  • Green Light – 70% to 100%
  • Blue Light – 30% to 70%
  • Red Light – 0% to 30%

It takes 55 minutes to fully charge. The charging rate is listed at 1A. This means the device charges quickly for the long battery life it provides.

Final Thoughts

In my opinion, the XROS 3 NANO doesn’t really do enough to be called a big upgrade over the original. I have not tried the first NANO, but the only real new thing seems to be the RDL (Restricted Direct Lung) capability. Although, to be honest, I would not recommend it for RDL vaping unless you like it very tight. It does look better though and hey, it comes with a lanyard.

If you do not already have the XROS 3 or the original NANO, the 3 is an amazing pod vape. It has excellent flavor, great battery life, long-lasting coils, airflow adjustment, and it is stylish and easy to use. As far as square pod vapes go this is my favorite.
